Jimmy Wood 

2003 & 2004 Jr. Sprint Track Champion @ US 24

The driver of the #38 Jr. Sprint Car is 10 year old Jimmy Wood. He is a 4th grader at Woodlawn Elementary in Monticello. He enjoys spending time at the race track with his parents, Jim & Deb Wood and his sister Megan.

Jimmy began his racing career at the age of 5. He has over 40 feature wins including the Howard Weaver Classic, Fall Classic and the Outlaw Nationals. In 2004 he traveled to Claremore, Oklahoma where he won the 2nd Annual Arena Cup and finished 2nd at the Tulsa, Oklahoma 20th annual Tulsa Shootout, where he started in the 6th position.
